The Daimler Chrysler was introduced as a thought car at the 2001 Northeast Dweller Multinational Motorcar Demonstration in Motown. It was a large hit. From conception to reality took lower than two geezerhood. A creation edition was shown at the LA Foreign Machine Evince in Jan 2003. Industrialist Benz says the Crossfire is where "Itinerary 66 meets the Autobahn." It's the archetypal car to originate out of Daimler-Benz' takeover (oops, compassionate... merger) of/with Chrysler. Indeed, most 40% of this sporty 2-seater (mostly the cover bits) comes from Mercedes. The society calls the Crossfire an strategic milestone both for the Chrysler Group and for DaimlerChrysler itself. It intends to use the limited-production Crossfire to corroborate how the Chrysler Grouping can investment the name up-market using world-class Mercedes products and processes. The proper purport of this sweat, of course whatever disenchanting.
